Custom Websites

Built with your whole business in mind.

As the backbone of your entire marketing ecosystem, your website deserves more than the duct tape of good vibes, and trendy templates.

A well built website is the key to unlocking your lead potential.

The biggest mistake most websites make is thinking that humans operate like robots. Expecting all visitors to enter the website in the same way, gain information in the same way, and process information in the same way. But the reality is humans are infinitely more complicated, and how they access a website is infinitely more complicated too.

Think about all the ways someone finds you: social media, in-person networking, Google searches, AI no-click results; the list keeps going. Every entry point changes what that person needs in that moment. A real website strategy does more than convert people who were already sold on you. Because if you can reach the undecided audience too, your lead potential just grew exponentially.

Accessibility Isn't a Checklist. It's a Standard.

Most sites treat accessibility as something to audit at the end, if there's time. Here, it's built in from the first line of copy to the last line of code: contrast, plain language, real navigation, forms that talk like a human instead of a robot. Not because it's trendy. Because someone on the other end of every site is trying to use it, and they deserve a site that works.

Built to Last, Not to Be Rebuilt in Two Years

A website that needs a full rebuild every 18 months isn't a website, it's a recurring expense disguised as a solution. When you work with me, we’re building a long term infrastructure that grows with you, not something that needs tearing down the next time your business shifts shape. Which is why when we’re strategizing what to include, we’re not just thinking about copy and design.

Here’s how Your Website Actually Gets Built

This follows the same Amoeba Method™ as everything else I build, the same six steps, adapted to the unique process of brand design.

Onboarding | 1-2 weeks

Getting everything in place before the real work starts.

Contracts signed, access and credentials collected, brand assets gathered, discovery calls scheduled. This stage alone typically takes a week or more. Getting it right upfront means everything that follows moves cleanly.

Discovery & Story | 2-3 weeks

Your business, your story, and how it all ties into the ecosystem, not just the website.

We talk through your business, your story, who you actually serve, and how it all ties into the ecosystem, not just the website. What do you need for emails, confirmation pages, forms? Who gets directed where, and for what? This is also where we gather everything needed for bios, about pages, and any place your voice needs to show up.

Strategic Buildout Plan | 1-2 weeks

Not what you asked for on the surface. What you actually need.

This is where you see your new brand for the first time, and it comes with a lot of feelings. Is this the right choice? Will this actually change things? Nothing about this moment should feel rushed. If you're ever wondering why something's included, ask, there's a reason behind every piece. Balance, grounding, something specific to your ideal client, every element is intentional, driven by strategy, not decoration.

The color direction, the logo concept, all of it merged into a cohesive brand built for your actual ideal audience. This is also where all additional collateral items get built, whatever's part of your package. And if we learned during Discovery that you're more rules-person than wing-it-person, that gets built in too, guardrails as detailed or as loose as actually fits how you work..

Strategic Buildout Plan | 1-2 weeks

The bones get approved first, then the full design and a real quality check follow

This phase runs in two parts, but it's really one continuous build.

First, wireframes for every page, so you can see and approve the structure before a single pixel of final design happens. While those are being reviewed, the backend gets built simultaneously, on a password-protected staging site only you can access.

Once wireframes are approved, full design begins. This is where the actual look and feel comes to life, colors, imagery, typography, all applied to the structure you already signed off on.

When design is complete, a formal quality check happens. Every site has hiccups. Catching them here, before launch, is easier than catching them after.

Delivery and Training | 1-2 weeks

You leave knowing how to run what we built.

You learn how to run what we built. Real questions, real answers, and documentation that stays useful even as tools evolve, not a custom video that goes stale the first time a feature changes.

Investment

Every website is custom designed and built to suit your business and the unique needs that come with it. That includes full design, quality control, and a complete branded template system, not just 5 pages, but the framework for every page, post, and product you'll ever add. When your business grows, new content matches automatically instead of looking bolted on.

Standard packages start at $12,500 for a 5-page site built on that system. Large-scale websites with custom post types and/or complex service structures begin at $24,350.

Beyond the buiildout

A website isn't done the day it launches. Plugins need updates, DNS settings need managing, and eventually you'll want to add or change something. These are two separate ways to stay supported, take one, both, or neither.

Hosting | starting at $15 per month

Full privileges, DNS settings, backend access, everything you'd have with your own hosting account, just managed through me so you're never troubleshooting server issues alone. If you're comfortable managing your own hosting, I'd actually recommend that instead, this is here for when you'd rather not.

FAQs

What happens if my needs change mid-project, or I need to pause?

We do a lot of front-end work specifically to prevent unnecessary scope changes. But sometimes they happen anyway. If something outside the original scope comes up, you’ll be told immediately, along with what your options are. You always have a choice in how to move forward.

Cancellation forfeits any payments already made. Pauses happen all the time, and if you give notice in advance, there’s no penalty, that includes pauses because we’ve uncovered something bigger than expected along the way. If a project goes quiet and more than 30 days pass with no communication, restarting requires a fee equal to 5% of the project total.

Is SEO/AEO/AIO included?

Premium plugins aren’t included by default, those get scoped in your proposal if your project needs them. But SEO and AEO aren’t an add-on, they’re baked into how every site gets built. Yoast’s basic version is included, and every page is structured around real keyword research from the first draft, not optimized as an afterthought. The specific tools used depend on what your project actually needs.

What’s included with my custom website, and what’s not?

Every proposal outlines exactly what’s included and what’s not, travel, photography, copywriting, branding, and anything else specific to your project. Nothing’s assumed. You’ll know precisely what you’re getting before you sign anything.

How does payment work for a custom website?

Typically split into three equal payments: due at contract signing, due the day before your kickoff call, and due at final signoff. Klarna financing is also available if you’d rather spread it out further.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

It depends on the person and how they process information, but typically two rounds, guided through a structured review process so you’re not just staring at a blank feedback box wondering what to say.

What’s included in the build?

A strategy foundation, wireframe and structure planning, design and development, platform setup, analytics integration, training and documentation, and pre-launch quality assurance.

How long does a website build take?

Most builds take 13-19 weeks, depending on complexity and how many pieces are involved. The timeline allows for real strategy, revision, and execution, not a rushed template swap.

Do I need to provide my own copy?

No. You can write it yourself, work with your own copywriter, or I can write it for you. Website copy add-ons start at $3,500. Stand-alone website copy, without a build, starts at $5,600.

Do I own my website once it’s built?

Yes, always. I build wherever you host, and the site is yours from the start. Hostage sites are unethical, and I don’t do that.

What stays mine: the methodology I use to build it, and the tools I build it with. What’s yours: the graphics made specifically for you, all copywriting, and the site itself.

The one thing you can’t do is resell the site itself, unless someone’s buying your company outright. I do keep a small “built by” credit in the footer and the right to feature the work in my portfolio, but that’s it. You’re never locked in, and you’re never held hostage.

What platforms do you work with?

WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Kajabi, Zenler, and more. Most builds happen in WordPress because it offers the most flexibility, but we’ll choose whatever platform fits your priorities and comfort level best.

What happens during the consultation?

We review your current site (if you have one), your business model, your ideal client, what’s working and what’s not, and where the friction actually lives. You’ll leave knowing what makes sense, and what doesn’t.

Do I need to know exactly what I need before booking?

No. Some people come in needing a full rebuild. Others just have a single page that’s not converting while everything else is working fine. You’re not expected to know which one you are, or even whether it’s a website problem at all. That’s what the consultation is for, we figure out the real scope together, whether that’s a full build, a single fix, an audit, or something outside website work entirely.
